People on the bus, the train, well, anyone who will listen really, because the more people who understand the power of real food, the better our health, our health systems, our health workers, our food producers, our farms etc. It’s win win and I want to help people connect the dots.

I will show you how to decode the language around food so that you can regain your power as a consumer, make your own choices, and experience the benefits of real food and real health.
I will show you what foods improve mood, energy, and sleep.
I make it relatable, accessible, and DO-ABLE because food should be delicious, a source of ease and joy, not angst or confusion.
You will come away from any of my talks with a much greater understanding of how you can genuinely embody the adage - “We are what we eat”!
Why Should You Listen?
If 80% of heart disease, stroke, type 2 diabetes, and 40% of all cancers are preventable through diet + lifestyle changes, we need to take a beat; because we have gotten this whole health thing all wrong on so many levels.
We need to move to the preventative side of the street where possible, but first, we need to understand it.
But what diet + lifestyle changes do you need to make?
Here is where I come in
My 24+ years working in advertising and media in the U.S. taught me a few things about advertising products. Misleading claims, deceptive labels, “studies” “panels” and conflicting advice make navigating the health marketplace daunting and even bewildering. People are being sold the illusion of health. But like any industry, unless we understand the behind-the-scenes mechanisms, we don’t stand a chance of navigating it, or making informed decisions.
I marry all this with. my expertise in Nutrition, Integrated Health, Metabolic Health and Culinary Medicine and I get to the root, so you can have better energy, sleep, and mood.

I want people to understand just how essential good food is for our well-being - what a marvel it is thanks to what it does in and for the human body - It regulates nearly every system in your body, from your immune system, hormones, nervous system, brain and so much more. .

Did you know that up to 95% of your serotonin, known as the “happy hormone” is produced in the gut? Or that keeping it healthy is one of the most important things you can do for your mental and physical health?
These are some of the areas I explore in this talk about gut health - how it helps determine overall well-being and what to eat to ensure you’re getting the most out of your diet.
I also take a look at how misleading advertising affects our food choices, often with negative results. You’ll come away with a much greater understanding of how to genuinely embody the adage,, “We are what we eat.”

Too many of us look at food in isolation when considering how it influences our health. True health is a much broader, richer state of being—like a giant Venn diagram with areas that overlap and intersect: Lifestyle, food, exercise, and stress, just for starters.
In this talk, I explore health as a state of complete physical, mental and social well-being, not merely the absence of disease or infirmity.
Because when you see the bigger picture, you can start to make better choices. That’s a good thing.
